Arts & Culture
Join us in exploring the rebirth of the iconic building previously known as City Hall in Old San Juan. This former government building has sat abandoned for a couple of years and now we have the opportunity to bring it back into service for the people. Our plan is to build an interactive art exhibit with the collaboration of local artists. The space will generate revenue through ticket sales that will support the local community, artists involved, and educational programs for the youth of Puerto Rico. The main goal is to feature art created primarily out of donated, up-cycled and re-purposed materials. This creates a powerful narrative that has been utilized by our collaborative partners in Salt Lake City. For the initial installation of an estimated one year, we are looking to work with 7-8 local artists. The building is now an empty canvas consisting of roughly 10k square feet. There are three stories and a beautiful rooftop.
